Good news!!!

* My work "old lady" was selected for the EXPOSÉ 1 book (page 90), where they represent the best digital works posted in CGTalk.
Congratulations to the other artists, mainly the other Brazilians ;)


My first CGTalk Award. My work with "Animator Guy" is today in the Hall of Fame Gallery. Cool! Thank you very much to all for the comments.

Firstly, I would like to excuse me for not having answered to the several e-mails that I received recently. To divide my time among the administration of the forum www.3d4all.org, my wife, university, work in the producer, my short movie WIP, this site etc, I have been taking myself 120% of the time (those 20% are for the sleepless nights...). I Hope to answer to the e-mails so soon my life to return to "normality"... I Read all of them but, in fact, I don't get to answer to all.

* Updating of the tutorials session. They are eight tutoriais in total, two of them subdivided in two and three parts, totaling eleven tutorials about texture map, digital painting, modelling and custom brushes. more...

* Tom Greenway, owner of 3DTotal, offered me your package of textures (3 CDs) so that I use their textures in some sceneries of my short film and send he the images. Since the textures of my film will be 100% hand painted, I offered my tutorials, that soon should be being hosted by 3DTotal. Some of them can be checked in the tutorials session.

* Updating of the Short Films session, with the inclusion of the other prizes conquered by the film "THE Werewolf and the Colonel". Up to now, they are 19 varied prizes in 10 different festivals (soundtrack, animation, screenplay and special prizes). more...

Inaugurated the new brazilian forum about traditional and digital art, 2D and 3D. It's an initiative of some Brazilian artists (where I include myself), that has dedicated a lot to that project. Weyler (Laboratory mouse), winner of the contest that chose the best layout for the 3D4ALL site, is already working to throw the homepage of the site shortly, with galleries, tutorials, forum etc. for the time being, only the forum is working. Access it at: http://www.3d4all.org/forum and register today ; -)
There, you will always be able to check the progresses of my short film WIP, besides other beautiful works of several Brazilian artists.

Finally I found some time to post the news, that are many!

* "O Lobisomem e o Coronel" (Werewolf and the Colonel) won one more time!
In the "Mostra Brasília", segment of the "35th Festival of Brasília", the film won the best short film prize granted by the Câmera Legislativa do Distrito Federal.
Certainly another great conquest!

Now, are 12 prizes in 7 festivals. We are waiting for more! :)
